Thoughts of Alberto 2020 · Espadeiro of Rías Baixas

Pensares de Alberto 2020 is a unique red wine, made from the native Espadeiro variety, a delicate and expressive grape that reflects the essence of the Galician terroir.

Born in Val do Salnés, at the Nanclares y Prieto winery, this project is committed to sustainable viticulture and the utmost respect for the environment. The vineyards grow in sandy soils over a granite bedrock, under the direct influence of the Atlantic, which gives the wine a vibrant freshness and a marked minerality.

The grapes from the Horta vineyard are cultivated organically and harvested by hand. Vinification is carried out with whole bunches and native yeasts, followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, where it gains complexity and structure. After bottling, the wine rests for at least 15 months before being released to the market, thus achieving a perfect balance between freshness and elegance.
