Asubío de Lagar do Vento encapsulates the freshness and authenticity of the Ribeira Sacra terroir. Located in Belesar, Chantada, this winery is distinguished by its focus on regenerative agriculture, producing wines that reflect the character and personality of the region. 

The Lagar do Vento vineyard, planted on granite soils and located on steep slopes on the banks of the Minho River, is characterized by terraced and manual viticulture.

2023 was a warm year with moderate rainfall, ideal conditions that favored grape ripening. The grapes are hand-picked, and fermentation is carried out with natural yeasts, followed by aging in stainless steel tanks to preserve the Godello variety.

Tasting Notes

Asubio 2023 has a bright straw-yellow color. On the nose, it displays aromas of white fruits such as pear and peach, accompanied by delicate floral notes and a subtle minerality that speaks to its origins in granite soils. Asubio 2023 offers vibrant freshness and balanced acidity, culminating in a lingering finish.
