Rosé wine is mainly made from red grapes. Unlike red wines, the must (grape juice) is left in contact with the grape skins for only a short period, usually between 2 and 24 hours. This process gives it its characteristic pink color and allows the must to acquire a slight color and some aromatic compounds from the skins, without reaching the levels of tannins and color present in red wines.
The history of rosé wine dates back to ancient times, being one of the first types of wine made. The Romans are believed to have been the first to produce rosé wine by the technique of pressing grapes immediately after harvest, which gave them a faint pink color. However, the Provence region in France is widely recognized as the birthplace of modern rosé wine, thanks to its ideal climate conditions, soil, and grape varieties.
At Vinnatura, we are proud to offer you a selection of unique rosé wines, made with passion and respect for sustainable viticulture. Among our featured rosé wines is the natural wine from Adega do Vimbio, with Caiño Tinto and Sousón grapes, which stands out for its fresh and fruity notes, while maintaining the purity of the native Galician grapes.
We also offer the rosé from Bodegas Mazuela, made from the renowned Tempranillo grape, an elegant and well-balanced wine that provides structure and depth. In addition, we have the exclusive rosé from Anónimas Viticultoras, produced from pre-phylloxera Caiño Tinto vines in the Rías Baixas, which offers a unique experience with its vibrant acidity and aromatic complexity.
At Vinnatura, every bottle is a celebration of tradition, innovation and commitment to sustainability. We invite you to discover the passion and diversity of our rosé wines, perfect for any occasion. Cheers!
