Description
Dunaria Rosado 2023 is a Galician wine with an Atlantic soul, fresh, delicate, and with a very distinctive personality. It originates from very old vines, cultivated with respect for the environment, on granite and sandy soils that provide tension, freshness, and a very characteristic mineral expression.
Behind this project is Anónimas Viticultoras, the winery founded by Cristina Yagüe Cuevas and María Falcón in Cambados. A project that honors the tradition and legacy of women in Galician viticulture, with a philosophy based on sustainability, respect for the landscape, and an honest, sensitive, and small-scale production method.
The production of Dunaria Rosado 2023 follows a delicate and respectful method: direct pressing, fermentation in stainless steel, and occasional work on fine lees until bottling in spring. All this without adding additional sulfites, seeking to preserve the freshness, purity, and natural expression of the wine.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Pale pink with orange reflections, clean and bright.
Nose: Aromas of wild strawberries, fresh citrus, and delicate floral notes.
Palate: Refreshing and balanced, with vibrant acidity. Notes of red fruit appear, with a light texture and a subtle mineral background that lengthens the finish.
Pairings
Dunaria Rosado 2023 is an elegant and fresh rosé, ideal for both informal occasions and accompanying a table with gourmet touches. Its profile of red fruit, Atlantic freshness, and lively acidity make it a very versatile wine.
It pairs especially well with fresh appetizers, artisanal preserves, grilled scallops, razor clams, marinated sardines, sushi, ceviche, fish tacos with citrus, salads with fresh fruit, vegetable rice dishes, seafood fideuá, chicken with fine herbs, or light desserts such as fresh strawberries and lemon sorbet.
