Description
Aturuxo 2020 · Caíño Tinto from the Val do Salnés
Aturuxo 2020 is a red wine from Pedro Méndez, made in the heart of the Val do Salnés with the native Caíño Tinto variety, a Galician grape with great acidity, freshness and aromatic expressiveness.
The old vines from which it originates are planted in decomposed granite soils, under the influence of the Atlantic, which gives the wine a characteristic minerality and salinity. Pedro Méndez works with sustainable and minimal intervention viticulture, allowing the terroir to express itself with total authenticity in each bottle.
The winemaking follows a traditional process: fermentation in stainless steel tanks and subsequent aging in French oak barrels, which provide complexity and depth without detracting from the fruit. The result is a low-production, low-alcohol wine, an authentic reflection of the terroir and the grape variety.
