Baenis 2022 is an excellent expression of the Albariño grape, carefully cultivated in the vineyards of Adega do Vimbio, in the Rías Baixas. This white wine captures the essence of the Atlantic and Galician tradition.
Produced by the respected Adega do Vimbio, a family-run winery dedicated to organic viticulture, in the O Rosal sub-zone. The region is known for its Atlantic climate, with mild summers and rainy winters, providing an ideal environment for Albariño. The year 2022 was characterized by a mild climate, allowing for perfect ripening of the grapes.
Baenis 2022 is made from organically grown Albariño grapes, on half a hectare in accordance with organic farming, fermented with natural yeasts, highlighting its purity and authenticity. The wine is aged on its fine lees for six months, giving it a creamy texture and complexity.
Tasting Notes
Baenis 2022 has a pale yellow color with greenish hues. On the nose, it displays intense aromas of citrus, saline and mineral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with a balanced acidity that highlights flavors of lemon, peach and a mineral touch that reflects its Atlantic origin.
