Description
Corullón 2021 · Bierzo
Corullón 2021 is a vibrant and refined expression of the winemaking tradition of Bierzo. Made by José Antonio García, it originates from century-old vineyards located in Valtuille de Abajo, a privileged enclave where the diversity of soils and the cool climate define the character of each vine.
The winery works with a firm commitment to sustainable agriculture, cultivating old vines on slate, quartzite and limestone soils. This geological richness gives the wine a unique mineral complexity.
The production process is carried out with extreme care: manual selection of bunches in 14 kg boxes to preserve freshness, fermentation with whole bunches and native yeasts in oak vats, without temperature control, and subsequent aging for 12 months in French oak barrels of different capacities. All this results in an authentic wine that reflects the identity of Bierzo with purity.
