Description
Dandelion 2022 · Albariño de Rías Baixas
Dandelion 2022 is an Albariño that captures the essence of the Atlantic. Produced by the Nanclares y Prieto winery in Cambados, in the heart of Val do Salnés, it comes from old vineyards planted on sandy soils of decomposed granite, a terroir that imparts freshness, minerality, and authenticity to the wine.
True to the winery's philosophy, viticulture is practiced with sustainable methods and respect for the environment. The 2022 vintage, marked by a moderate climate and optimal ripening, yielded grapes of extraordinary quality.
Winemaking combines simplicity and artisanal care: manual harvest, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, and aging on lees for seven months, with weekly batonnage in the first month. This process gives the wine a silky texture and a complexity that makes it unique.
