Description
Dandelion 2022 · Albariño from Rías Baixas
Dandelion 2022 is an Albariño that captures the essence of the Atlantic. Made by the Nanclares y Prieto winery in Cambados, in the heart of Val do Salnés, it comes from old vines planted on sandy soils of decomposed granite, a terroir that gives the wine freshness, minerality, and authenticity.
True to the winery's philosophy, viticulture is practiced using sustainable methods and with absolute respect for the environment. The 2022 vintage, marked by a moderate climate and optimal ripening, yielded grapes of extraordinary quality.
The winemaking process combines simplicity and artisanal care: manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, and aging on the lees for seven months, with weekly stirring during the first month. This process gives the wine a silky texture and a complexity that makes it unique.
