Dandelion 2022, by Nanclares and Prieto, is an exceptional Albariño that captures the essence of Rías Baixas. Made with 100% Albariño grapes from old vineyards located on granite soils, it offers a unique freshness and minerality.

Produced at the prestigious Nanclares and Prieto winery, located in the Val do Salnés sub-zone, Cambados, this wine reflects the winery's commitment to sustainable agriculture. The vineyards, planted on sandy soils of decomposed granite, benefit from a moderate Atlantic climate, with a 2022 year that provided optimal ripening of the grapes.

Dandelion 2022 is made from hand-picked grapes, fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine rests on its lees for seven months, with weekly batonnage for the first month, giving it a silky and complex texture.

Tasting Notes

This Albariño has a pale yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, intense aromas of citrus fruits such as lemon and grapefruit are perceived, together with floral notes and a mineral touch. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with a well-balanced acidity and a long, persistent finish that highlights its purity and natural expression.
