Do Peizas 2021 is produced by the Lagar do Vento winery. This red wine is made with 95% Mencía and 5% Garnacha Tintorera grapes, grown in the Peizas vineyard, located on granite slopes above the Minho River. The Lagar do Vento winery is renowned for its commitment to regenerative and sustainable viticulture, which is reflected in every bottle produced.

Do Peizás is made with hand-picked grapes fermented with natural yeasts, giving it a complex and elegant aromatic profile. Fermentation takes place 80% in stainless steel vats and 20% in 3-times-used barrels.

Tasting Notes

It has a bright cherry color with violet edges. On the nose, it displays aromas of red fruits, graphite, and light balsamic notes. On the palate, it is powerful and full of fruit, with lively acidity that makes it fresh and long-lasting.
