Description
Julia Vinificación Singular 2021 is a red wine with a unique character, produced by José Antonio García. This wine comes from vineyards located in Valtuille de Abajo, planted on sandy and slate soils that impart a distinctive complexity and minerality. The winery employs minimal intervention practices, allowing the natural characteristics of the grapes and terroir to fully express themselves.
José Antonio García is a family winery in El Bierzo that stands out for its commitment to sustainability and traditional techniques. The vineyards, between 80 and 100 years old, are located in Valtuille de Abajo and benefit from a continental climate with a strong Atlantic influence, which provides optimal conditions for the cultivation of Mencía and other native varieties.
Fermentation takes place in vats with native yeasts, without temperature control, and the wine is aged for 6 to 8 months in used oak barrels. José Antonio produces an excellent wine that has received international awards and recognition.
