These vineyards, between 80 and 100 years old, are situated on sandy and slate soils that impart minerality and complexity, faithfully reflecting the landscape of Bierzo.

The family-owned winery is distinguished by its commitment to sustainability and traditional techniques. The continental climate with strong Atlantic influence promotes the freshness and balance of Mencía and other indigenous varieties, cultivated with low yields and minimal intervention.

The winemaking process respects the grape: fermentation in foudres with indigenous yeasts, without temperature control, and aging for 6 to 8 months in used French oak barrels. The result is an authentic wine, with international recognition and true to the philosophy of its creator.
