Description
Julia Vinification Singular 2021 · Bierzo
Julia Vinificación Singular 2021 is a red wine with its own character, produced by José Antonio García from old vines located in Valtuille de Abajo. These vineyards, between 80 and 100 years old, are situated on sandy and slate soils that provide minerality and complexity, faithfully reflecting the landscape of El Bierzo.
The family-run winery is distinguished by its commitment to sustainability and traditional techniques. The continental climate with a strong Atlantic influence favors the freshness and balance of the Mencía and other native varieties, cultivated with low yields and minimal intervention.
The winemaking process respects the grape: fermentation in vats with native yeasts, without temperature control, and aging for 6 to 8 months in used French oak barrels. The result is an authentic wine, with international recognition and true to the philosophy of its creator.
