Description
From the first sip, you'll be captivated by its intense and balanced notes, the result of careful production in harmony with nature. The vines, ranging in age from 15 to 90 years old, grow in the Perdecanai plot in the Barro region, on soils rich in sand and silt, supported by a granite subsoil. This unique terroir gives the wine a distinctive minerality intertwined with intense aromas of red fruits and wild herbs.
The winemaking process, carried out with dedication and craftsmanship, begins with a manual harvest and foot crushing, followed by a 21-day maceration and spontaneous fermentation. The wine then rests in used French oak barrels for 11 months, where it develops its complex and elegant character, without losing its characteristic freshness and vivacity. This careful process culminates in bottling without fining or filtering, and an additional 21 months of bottle aging before release.
