Description
Red Clay Wine (Galicia)
From the first sip, Labores de Silvia 2020 captivates with its balance and authenticity. This wine originates from the Perdecanai plot in Barro, where vines aged between 15 and 90 years thrive on sandy and silty soils, supported by a granitic subsoil. This unique terroir imparts a distinctive minerality that blends with intense aromas of red fruits and wild herbs.
The winemaking is done traditionally and with deep respect for the land: manual harvesting, foot-treading, and spontaneous maceration and fermentation for 21 days. Subsequently, the wine rests for 11 months in used French oak barrels, refining its complexity without losing freshness. The process culminates with bottling without fining or filtering, and an additional 21 months of rest in the bottle before its release to the market.
