Description
Labores de Silvia 2020 · Red Wine from Barro (Galicia)
From the first sip, Labores de Silvia 2020 captivates you with its balance and authenticity. A wine born in the Perdecanai plot, in Barro, where vines between 15 and 90 years old grow on sandy and silty soils, supported by a granite subsoil. This unique terroir provides a distinctive minerality that blends with intense aromas of red fruits and wild herbs.
The winemaking process is carried out in a traditional way and with deep respect for the land: manual harvesting, foot-crushing, maceration and spontaneous fermentation for 21 days. Afterwards, the wine rests for 11 months in used French oak barrels, refining its complexity without losing its freshness. The process culminates with bottling without clarification or filtration, and an additional 21 months of rest in the bottle before release to the market.
