Description
Le Fleq Pinot Noir 2023 is an expression of Andalusian terroir, produced at the prestigious Le Fleq winery, managed by Flequi Berruti. It comes from Pago de Carrascal, an area known for its albariza soils that lend a distinctive minerality to the wine. The Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence and an exceptionally warm year allowed for optimal ripening of the Pinot Noir grapes, resulting in a wine of great character and elegance.
The Le Fleq winery, located in Jerez de la Frontera, is dedicated to organic production with a profound respect for the environment. Flequi Berruti, a wine enthusiast, has created a project that combines tradition and sustainability. The vineyards in Pago de Carrascal are managed to limit production to 2 kg per vine, ensuring superior quality.
Le Fleq Pinot Noir is made with organically grown grapes with very low yields. They are fermented with native yeasts and stems in oak barrels for 28 days. The wine is aged in used oak barrels for 10 months, adding complexity and depth to its flavor profile. This process ensures that each bottle is an authentic representation of its terroir.
Tasting Notes
