Ravia 2022 is a wine expression from the Iría Otero winery, located in Ribadavia, in the heart of O Ribeiro. This white wine, a blend of Treixadura and Torrontés, stands out for its organic farming and minimal intervention, capturing the Galician terroir.

Iría Otero, a winemaker with more than 17 years of experience, founded her winery in 2015 with the aim of creating wines that reflect the history and environment of the Ribeiro. The vineyards, located on the slopes of the Avia River, have soils of decomposed granite and sabrego, which provide a unique minerality to the wine. The Atlantic climate with Mediterranean influences, combined with a particularly warm 2022 balanced by rain in September, contributed to the complexity and freshness of Ravia 2022.

Made from organically grown grapes, Ravia 2022 is fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Aging for 7 months on fine lees and partial malolactic fermentation in barrels provides a creamy texture and a distinctive aromatic profile.

Tasting Notes:

Straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections, Ravia 2022 presents intense aromas of ripe citrus, mandarin and white flowers. It is perceived as fresh, with a moderate and well-integrated acidity, herbaceous notes and a slightly bitter and vegetal finish, leaving a long and pleasant sensation.
