Roico 2023 is produced by the Adega do Vimbio winery, located in the hills of Goian, Tomiño. This winery, led by Martín Crusat and Patricia Elola, is distinguished by its commitment to sustainable agriculture and the preservation of the natural environment. Their focus on organic and low-intervention viticulture allows their wines to purely reflect the unique character of the soil and climate of Rías Baixas.
The Albariño grapes used for Roico 2023 come from the Veque and O Gaiteiro vineyards, located on shale and clay soils. These soils, combined with the region's Atlantic climate, provide exceptional minerality and freshness to the wine. The 2023 vintage benefited from warm temperatures, favouring optimal ripening of the grapes, resulting in a rich and complex flavour profile.
Roico 2023 is made following a process that respects nature. The grapes are fermented with natural yeasts and with their skins, a method that gives the wine a distinctive texture and flavor profile. This Albariño presents with a bright golden color and aromas of fresh citrus, brioche and delicate floral notes.
Roico 2023 is an authentic expression of the Rías Baixas terroir, capturing the essence of its vineyards and the passion of its winegrowers. Perfect if you are looking for a natural and authentic wine, which reflects the true spirit of the region.
