Silente 2021 is produced by Adega Saíñas, a winery that stands out for its commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture. Located in Espasantes, within the Ribeiras do Miño sub-zone, Adega Saiñas cultivates its vineyards on steep terraces at altitudes ranging from 340 to 420 metres, where sandy-loam soils with a predominance of granite guarantee excellent drainage and optimal sun exposure.
The 2021 harvest, characterised by a balanced inland Atlantic climate, was carried out manually in the second half of September. The grapes were rigorously selected both in the vineyard and in the winery. The wine fermented with indigenous yeasts and underwent spontaneous malolactic fermentation. For ageing, 85% of the wine was kept in stainless steel tanks and the remaining 15% in French oak barrels, which gives it exceptional complexity and balance.
