Un Culin 2022 is an authentic expression of Bierzo viticulture, produced by the family winery José Antonio García Viticultor. This wine reflects the winery's commitment to sustainability and organic farming, encapsulating the essence of the region in each bottle.
Produced in the hills of El Bierzo, José Antonio García Viticultor is a family-run winery dedicated to the preservation of traditional and sustainable practices. The vineyards, located in Valtuille de Abajo, benefit from poor soil with low yields but high quality, and the continental climate with Atlantic influence adds a unique complexity and freshness to the wine. The winery is noted for its dedication to minimal intervention, allowing the terroir to fully express itself.
Made with organically grown grapes, in A Culin 2022 undergoes spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts, in uncontrolled temperature-controlled vats, where it is aged for 12 months. This process, together with minimal intervention in the winery, allows the natural characteristics of the Mencía to fully express themselves.
