Miñato da Raña 2022 by Nanclares and Prieto is a rustic red wine from the Ribeira Sacra, Galicia. This vintage is made up of 60% Mencía, 30% Garnacha Tintorera and 10% white grapes, specifically Godello and Palomino. The grapes come from the "A Raña" vineyard, which is located on the granite slopes of the Miño River and has centuries-old vines.
The winemaking process includes manual harvesting, foot treading and fermentation with 100% inclusion of the bunches in old 600-litre French oak barrels. The wine is then aged for 9 months in the same containers, without clarification or filtering.
