Description
Miñato da Raña 2022 · Ribeira Sacra
Miñato da Raña 2022, from Nanclares y Prieto, is a rustic and authentic red wine that reflects the essence of Ribeira Sacra. It comes from the "A Raña" vineyard, located on the granite slopes of the Miño River and composed of century-old vines that express the strength and tradition of this unique terroir.
The 2022 vintage combines 60% Mencía, 30% Garnacha Tintorera and 10% white grapes —Godello and Palomino—, as was formerly planted in the mixed plots of Galicia, bringing complexity and freshness to the whole.
The winemaking process is artisanal: manual harvesting, foot-treading, fermentation with 100% whole bunches in old 600-liter French oak barrels, and aging for 9 months in the same containers. The wine is bottled without clarification or filtration, respecting the purity of the grape and the landscape to the fullest.
