Description
Tres Inviernos 2021 is a wine that encapsulates the dedication and talent of Cris Yagüe Cuevas and Maria Falcón. This Albariño, native to the cool Atlantic climate of Rías Baixas, benefits from a three-winter aging process before being released, refining for two years in the bottle.
Produced in Rías Baixas, in the Val do Salnés subregion. Founded by Cris Yagüe Cuevas and Maria Falcón, the winery is committed to sustainability and biodiversity preservation. The region's granitic and sandy soils, along with the Atlantic climate, influence the minerality and freshness of this Albariño.
Albariño grapes from 30-year-old vineyards are cold macerated for 10 hours before undergoing controlled fermentation with neutral yeasts. The wine is aged on lees in stainless steel tanks for four months and then rests in the bottle for two years, without malolactic fermentation, to preserve its freshness and vibrant acidity.
Tasting Notes
It displays aromas of fresh citrus, white flowers, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is vibrant and fresh, with balanced acidity and a long, mineral finish reminiscent of a sea breeze. Prolonged bottle aging provides complexity and a smooth texture.
