Description
Pedramogueira 2022 is an expression of Albariño from the Rías Baixas. This wine reflects the freshness and minerality of the Atlantic, thanks to its origins in vineyards near the sea and its cultivation on granitic soils.
A project led by María Falcón and Cristina Yagüe focuses on sustainable viticulture. Located in Val do Salnés, the winery stands out for its ecological practices and commitment to the environment. The vineyards in Vilagarcía de Arousa, with granitic soils and an Atlantic climate, provide ideal conditions for the production of a fresh and vibrant Albariño.
Pedramogueira 2022 is made with organically grown grapes, subjected to a 10-hour cold maceration and fermented with neutral yeasts at low temperatures. The wine ages on lees in amphorae for four months, with gentle manual stirring of the lees, preserving its characteristic acidity and freshness. It is followed by bottle aging before being released in 2024.
Tasting Notes
Pale yellow with greenish hues, this Albariño displays aromas of citrus, white flowers, and a subtle salinity. Its crisp acidity and minerality are balanced by flavors of lime, green apple, and a hint of peach, culminating in a long, refreshing finish.
