The Veigamoura Quinquenio 2018 is an Albariño that goes beyond the conventional, offering a unique experience from the first sip. Made in the Condado do Tea sub-area, in As Neves, this wine comes from its own vineyards located in high altitude terrain with granitic soils, difficult to cultivate but which reward with grapes of the highest quality. The winery is proud of its commitment to sustainable agriculture, respecting the natural environment and using techniques that preserve local biodiversity.

From harvest to bottle, every step in the making of Veigamoura Quinquenio is designed to highlight the purity and distinctiveness of the Albariño. The grapes, harvested by hand, are subjected to gentle and prolonged pressure to maintain their fresh and vibrant flavours. Fermentation, carried out with indigenous yeasts, gives the wine a unique touch that distinguishes it from other Albariños.

The wine is then aged for 6 months with batonnage, followed by 30 months of ageing in stainless steel tanks on its fine lees and finally, it is refined for 24 months in the bottle.
